Dr. Paul Craig Roberts: Why Dallas Happened

I find it mind-blowing that Obama and Loretta Lynch are dead silent on the issue of the police inflicting out of control violence on African Americans.   Obama takes the coward’s way out and blames the issue lack of gun control.  Loretta Lynch, the head law enforcer in the country, has nothing to say.  If I were African American, I would feel betrayed by angry and angry at Obama and Lynch.  It’s a god damned disgrace.

I wanted to post Dr. Paul Craig Roberts’ commentary on the Dallas situation.  His analysis and presentation of truthseeking issues is second to none – Why Dallas Happened:

Is the Dallas police shooting a false flag affair in behalf of gun control? Is it the result of a war veteran suffering from post traumatic stress disorder? Is the shooting the beginning of retribution for thousands of wanton police murders of US citizens in the 21st century? Or is there some other explanation?

We will never know. The perpetrator is dead. The authorities will tell us whatever suits the purposes of authority.

We could say that the police have brought this on themselves by their undisciplined and violent behavior toward the public. On the other hand, we can hold the police chiefs, the police unions, the mayors and city councils, the governors, prosecutors, and the Justice (sic) Department responsible for failure to hold accountable those cops who murder and commit gratuitous violence against the public.

When police execute someone, the excuse is always something like this: “He reached under his shirt to his waistband. I thought he had a gun. I didn’t want to leave my children fatherless and my wife a widow.” The murdered victim’s wife and children, if any, are of no consequence.

Conservatives, especially those taught to be fearful of crime, have scant objection to police murders. Their view is always: “The police wouldn’t have shot him without cause.” The same bias in favor of the police is why conservative jurors always convict.

The liberals tend to interpret the shootings as racism, so they want to combat racism.

The real problem is that public authorities do not protect the public from gratuitous violence. Therefore, hatred and disrespect for the police are growing. Routine murders by police–several each day, almost all of which go unpunished–are generating the kind of anger that causes people to snap and to reply to violence with violence.

If the criminal justice system applied also to the police, the police would think twice before they wantonly murder.

Being a police officer is not supposed to be risk free. A police officer should be concerned about the public, not merely his own family. We cannot accept gratuitous police violence on the grounds that the officer’s behavior is dictated by his concerns for his own family. If an officer cannot accept the risks of being a police officer, he should find a different occupation.

Police violence is out of control because mayors, prosecutors, and governors are failing the public by refusing to put a halt to it. According to conservatives, punishment deters crime, but they do not apply this to the police.

Police violence is also out of control because of the revolution in police training which teaches police to protect themselves and to subdue the suspect regardless of cost. A number of former police officers have written to me that the reason they gave up the occupation is that today police are being trained to be killers like soldiers.

If a former police officer or someone knowledgeable about this training would describe it and its history, where it originated and why, I will post it on the website

  1. I don’t know of a way to contact PCR directly, but entering comments here.

There are STRONG indications that the Dallas event is a classic false-flag event. Unfortunately, there is likelihood of escalation of more & more false-flag events for the rest of summer.

This looks to be a classic “Summer of Rage/Discontent”, worse than the Summer of 1968. Global economy collapsed long time ago. Rule of law in United States has clearly collapsed, with Hitlery being let loose the most in-your-face provocation.

This nation has now entered a truly frightening stage, and likely to face protracted pain similar to following 2 “operations”. I’m sure Dr. Paul Craig Roberts is fully aware of the history behind following 2 major CIA run operations, the geo-political genius that he is. Posting links here for benefit of those who may not be aware:

  2. “When police execute someone……”

“……city councils, the governors, prosecutors, and the Justice (sic) Department responsible for failure to hold accountable those cops who murder and commit gratuitous violence against the public.”

” Is it the result of a war veteran suffering from post traumatic stress disorder? Is the shooting the beginning of retribution for thousands of wanton police murders of US citizens in the 21st century?”

I for one don’t think his commentary is good. Overreaction, sometimes extreme, for which in some cases police should be prosecuted. But I don’t think they are lining up people and executing them. This sort of talk, narrative, or meme in my opinion just makes thing worse. Not the responsible discourse I’d expect from an educated or responsible man. Rather it is undisciplined emotional outburst.

A former mayor of a town near me told me in his experience as mayor [and in his opinion of course], many of the police officers he judged to be former high school bullies. Perhaps better psychological profiling of applicants for the job?
But lets not take away from the fact that most are out there doing or trying to do a damn good job.

    1. David Icke says that police departments are intentionally hiring narcissists. That is the current state of psychological profiling.

If you haven’t read Dr PCR books, you probably don’t really know where he is coming from. I suggest you read “How America Was Lost.” Dr Roberts describes how the country has changed over the years. His analysis will give you a different way of looking at things. A former insider’s view, not shared by most former insiders lest they open themselves for ridicule and persecution.

Note what happens to whistle blowers these days. Dr. PCR has courage to speak out about the truth. Someone needs to say it, and we all need to hear it.

  3. The question, “was Dallas a false flag event?”
Yes, like every other false flag event over the
past five years. These people are manufacturing
these false flags faster then Hollywood puts out
movies. I bet the productions costs probably rival
Hollywood type major movie productions. The
government has most likely has employed Hollywood
script writers and received technical advice on how to
make seem as real as possible. You can never spend
too much of the tax payers money to keep the Machiavellian
    theme alive.

  4. One aspect that has had an impact on how the police behave is training from Israel post 9/11 and how people are viewed through this training. The American people are viewed as a threat to the elites and so use of maximum force and protection of police from conviction (above the law, much like the recent Clinton example) has filtered down from the top. The elites need their henchmen no matter the level atrocities they inflict.

A few links out of many that can be found:

  5. It is my belief that a great deal of the injustice we suffer from today can be tied to the “war on drugs.” This war on drugs has been prosecuted incongruously on racial minorities, and divides us from each other.

Every time the authorities declare a war on something, the problem gets worse. Nixon declared a war on cancer. Cancer rates have skyrocketed since the 1970s. Reagan declared a “war on terror,” and now have more terror in the world than ever before. Nixon also declared the “war on drugs,” and now the drug violence is worse than ever.

And we have had a war in Iraq, a war in Libya, a war in Syria, and a war in Afghanistan. Who benefits? Those who provide the weapons of war for sure. The public corporations that provide incarceration services. The pharmaceutical companies providing the cancer treatments that don’t really work, as cancer prevention is the most effective way to handle cancer. However cancer prevention is counter to the pharmaceutical companies cancer strategy, which is focused solely on profits.

Now Putin is warning us about another war we are about to embark on. We have a failing record on prosecuting wars, both foreign and domestic. I think it is imperative that we have an open public discussion about the perils we face. Rushing to a nuclear war is a certain path to destruction. No winners. But if the neocons in charge have their way, that is exactly what we shall have.

  6. “I find it mind-blowing that Obama and Loretta Lynch are dead silent on the issue of the police inflicting out of control violence on African Americans. Obama takes the coward’s way out and blames the issue lack of gun control. . If I were African American, I would feel betrayed by angry and angry at Obama and Lynch.”

What the public should find mind-blowing [becasue apparently they don’t realize it] is the selective nature of what Obama & Lynch do focus on to get upset about in front of the public; it has to meet an agenda or narrative. Obama doesn’t blame police inflicting violence on African Americans as being due to lack of gun control. Obama blames lack of gun control for violence NOT perpetrated by police. He is of course silent on gun violence by blacks on blacks [like in Chicago http://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/voices/2016/07/10/voices-chicago-gun-violence-defies-comprehension/86804570/%5D. That does show that in a state and city with strict gun control laws, criminals will still have guns. That of course doesn’t fit the narrative and/or he doesn’t care. That should upset people living there.

    1. We here in the utopian paradise of Chicago we rarely hear or read of the carnage occurring here on a daily basis – seems the MSM (pathetic as it is) reports this more than even the local Trib.

Mayor Rammy “Prima Ballerina” Emmany is just utterly silent on this issure. Recall if you will following the drive by carnage in Marquette Park a few years ago when he said (this following the death of the little girl that Moochelle O. rallied around at the time) “If you have a problem – take it to the alley and leave the chiiiiildren alone”. This guy is a piece of work and further reinforces that he and his ilk fail the public, fail to keep us safe and fail in their oath of office. They all need to be keel hauled and tarred and feathered – the failures that they are and get some ‘adults’ in the room to start to address this .

  7. Which event is more disgraceful?

Rand Paul endorsed Mitt Romney back in 2012.

“Feel the Burn” endorsed and appeared on same campaign stage with Hitlery in 2016.
