The Military Complex Has Taken Control Of The White House

“The astonishing reinvention of Donald Trump:”  Washingtonians are still puzzling at the speed with which the man who promised to “drain the swamp” has come to bask in its approval. In the past 10 days, Mr Trump has belied many of the city’s worst fears. Having promised to launch a trade war with China, Mr Trump is rapidly abandoning his protectionist rhetoric. Likewise, having vowed to avoid foreign wars, he has acquired a sudden taste for Levantine missile launches. And having dismissed Nato as obsolete, Mr Trump is now singing the alliance’s praises. – Financial Times, April 13, 2017

It was just a matter of time before the Deep State got its meat-hooks into Trump.   The move to remove Steve Bannon from the National Security Council and replace him with two Deep State operatives who had been formerly removed from NSC was our signal that the Deep State had restored its control of the Oval Office.  Shortly after that power swap was accomplished, missiles started flying in Syria in response to false flag “gas” attack and the world’s largest non-nuclear bomb was dropped on CIA-built underground tunnels in Afghanistan.

Trump has back-pedaled on every single “plank” in his campaign platform – about as quickly as Obama did after he was inaugurated.  Trump’s geopolitical policies now resemble the same policies endorsed by Hillary Clinton, who is a neocon dressed in drag.

When all else fails, start a war.  The opinion ratings on Trump are plunging, along with the major portions of the economy.  Auto sales are down 10% since the beginning to 2017 and JP Morgan, despite “beating” earnings estimates, disclosed a troubling spike in credit card write-offs, which rose to nearly $1 billion in Q1.  Retail sales have now declined two months in a row.  It’s no coincidence that the dismal sales report was released on Good Friday when the market was closed.  The original .1% gain reported for February was revised down significantly to a decline of .3%.   Restaurant industry sales have declined for 11 of the last 12 months in a row on a year over year monthly basis.

The economy is been fueled on money printing and credit creation for the better part of 40 years.  That artificial stimulation went parabolic in 2009.   The tech and housing bubbles have been reinflated along with every other asset class into an “everything” bubble.  Real weekly earnings have declined two months in a row. The consumer is tapped out on two fronts:  disposable income and the capacity to take on more debt.  Now comes the part where the average household begins to default on the debt it’s taken on over the last 8 years.  Hence the big jump in credit write-offs disclosed opaquely by JP Morgan last week.

Today’s Shadow of Truth discusses the role played by the Deep State in ushering in the inevitable economic collapse of the United States which will lead to the implementation of Totalitarianism and a dystopic political system:

SoT – Dr. Paul Craig Roberts: Washington Represents The Most Concentrated Evil

In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists, and will persist.  – President Eisenhower, farewell speech from the White House

President Eisenhower, in his farewell speech from the White House warned the nation about the U.S. military-industrial complex.  Since that time, the United States Government has become the world’s most dangerous terrorist organization.

The United States [military policy] has destroyed seven countries.  The populations there are subject to ongoing continual violence either from the U.S. or these Jihadists or from the Islamic State.  In Libya there’s various factions, no Government – just warlords fighting and nobody’s safe anywhere so the populations are getting out.  You can’t live in that type of situation. – Dr. Paul Craig Roberts on the Shadow of Truth

Lost in the rivers of humanity that have been streaming out of Africa and the Middle East and flooding into Europe is the fact the U.S. military is responsible for this crisis.   Not only has the U.S. destroyed several countries around the globe, the U.S. Government now appears to provoking Russia into a military conflict in both Ukraine and Syria that risks escalating into a nuclear war.  Even Henry Kissinger and Zbigniew Brzezinski – two notorious warhawks – have both recently stated that the U.S. Government is pushing Russia too hard.

In fact Dr. Paul Craig Roberts now believes that the only way to avoid eventual nuclear war is a break-up of the EU and NATO.  The EU countries exist politically, economically and strategically as vassal countries of the U.S.  And the United States uses NATO as a “cover” to implement is unilateral implementation of dangerously aggressive military action all over the globe.

This policy is insane and the people running the policy are insane.  The Shadow of Truth hosted Dr. Paul Craig Roberts in a two-part podcast which covers the current geopolitical risks facing the world as fomented by the U.S. and last week’s FOMC decision to leave zero percent interest rates in place.   Part 1 is below and Part 2 will be available shortly:

The U.S. Government’s Planned Coup D’etat Of The World

Paul Craig Roberts’ Address to the International Conference on the European/Russian Crisis Created by Washington

I have gotten know Dr. Roberts over the past couple years and have co-authored several articles with him on the manipulation of the precious metals markets.  As a former DC insider, his knowledge and understanding of how Washington, DC operates on the real inside should not be taken lightly or underestimated.  We are extremely fortunate that Dr. Roberts has come forward to expose the truth about what is really going on behind Washington’s “Iron Curtain.”

In my opinion, the neoconservative-controlled avenues of power in DC are far more of a threat posed to the world than was Hitler’s Third Reich.  Why?  At least Hitler was open about what he was doing and why.   The truth is, 99.5% of this country has no clue what the U.S. Government is all about.  But let’s just say that the heat underneath the cauldron of “boiling frogs” is about to be turned up to “high.”

The world should take note that today, right now, Truth is the most unwelcome presence in the Western world. No one wants to hear it in Washington, London, Tokyo, or in any of the political capitals of Washington’s empire…There is always a new lie to keep the fear factor working for Washington’s endless wars and police state measures that enrich the rich and impoverish the poor.

This is a must-read speech delivered by Paul Craig Roberts on threat posed by neoconservative-controlled U.S. Government:

The collapse of the Soviet Union resulted in the rise of the neoconservatives to power and influence in the US government. The neoconservatives have interpreted the Soviet collapse as History’s choice of “American democratic capitalism” as the New World Order.

Chosen by History as the exceptional and indispensable country, Washington claims the right and the responsibility to impose its hegemony on the world. Neoconservatives regard their agenda to be too important to be constrained by domestic and international law or by the interests of other countries. Indeed, as the Unipower, Washington is required by the neoconservative doctrine to prevent the rise of other countries that could constrain American power.

Paul Wolfowitz, a leading neoconservative, penned the Wolfowitz Doctrine shortly after the Soviet collapse. This doctrine is the basis of US foreign and military policy.

The doctrine states:

“Our first objective is to prevent the re-emergence of a new rival, either on the territory of the former Soviet Union or elsewhere, that poses a threat on the order of that posed formerly by the Soviet Union. This is a dominant consideration underlying the new regional defense strategy and requires that we endeavor to prevent any hostile power from dominating a region whose resources would, under consolidated control, be sufficient to generate global power.”

Notice that Washington’s “first objective” is not peace, not prosperity, not human rights, not democracy, not justice. Washington’s “first objective” is world hegemony. Only the very confident so blatantly reveal their agenda.

As a former member of the Cold War Committee on the Present Danger, I can explain what Wolfowitz’s words mean. The “threat posed formerly by the Soviet Union” was the ability of the Soviet Union to block unilateral US action in some parts of the world. The Soviet Union was a constraint on US unilateral action, not everywhere but in some places. Any constraint on Washington is regarded as a threat.

A “hostile power” is a country with an independent foreign policy, such as the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) have proclaimed. Iran, Bolivia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Argentina, Cuba, and North Korea also proclaim an independent foreign policy.

This is too much independence for Washington to stomach. As Russian President Vladimir Putin recently stated, “Washington doesn’t want partners. Washington wants vassals.”

The Wolfowitz doctrine requires Washington to dispense with or overthrow governments that do not acquiesce to Washington’s will. It is the “first objective.”

The collapse of the Soviet Union resulted in Boris Yeltsin becoming president of a dismembered Russia. Washington became accustomed to Yeltsin’s compliance and absorbed itself in its Middle Eastern wars, expecting Vladimir Putin to continue Russia’s vassalage.

However at the 43rd Munich Conference on Security Policy, Putin said: “I consider that the unipolar model is not only unacceptable but also impossible in today’s world.”

Putin went on to say:
“We are seeing a greater and greater disdain for the basic principles of international law, and independent legal norms are, as a matter of fact, coming increasingly closer to one state’s legal system. One state and, of course, first and foremost the United States, has overstepped its national borders in every way. This is visible in the economic, political, cultural and educational policies it imposes on other nations. Well, who likes this? Who is happy about this?”

When Putin issued this fundamental challenge to US unipower, Washington was preoccupied with its lack of success with its invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. Mission was not accomplished.

By 2014 it had come to Washington’s attention that while Washington was blowing up weddings, funerals, village elders, and children’s soccer games in the Middle East, Russia had achieved independence from Washington’s control and presented itself as a formidable challenge to Washington’s uni-power. Putin blocked Obama’s planned invasion of Syria and bombing of Iran.

U.S. Dollar Hegemony Further Eroded: Iran Joins The AIIB

Iran has been accepted as a founding member of the new Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank (article link).   China emphasized that the decision was made by existing members including Britain, France, India and Italy. I find it interesting that former staunch political/economic allies of the U.S. – especially Britain and India – supported the decision to include Iran as a founding member of the AIIB. The AIIB is quickly advancing as a significant ecnomic/geopolitical rival to the U.S.-controlled World Bank.

The United States had openly “discouraged” several of its western European/UK allies from joining the AIIB.  Even Japan, which is the United States’ most loyal lapdog country, is considering joining the AIIB.

The U.S. is becoming increasingly isolated both geopolitically and economically from the rest of the world.  Its overt attempts to overthrow the current Syrian Government was bluntly rejected by Russia – with the implicit “background” support of China.

And now several European allies, specifically Germany and France, have been reluctant to further support NATO U.S. efforts to militarize Ukraine with weapons which can be used to attack Russian.

For myself, and many others, the rapid emergence of the AIIB is symbolic of the historic power shift in the global balance of power – economic, political, military – from west to east.  The linchpin of this shift is the massive and ongoing transfer of physical gold from western Central Bank vaults to Asia, primarily China.

As this power shift advances, it further erodes any legitimacy of the reserve status of the U.S. dollar.  As the viability and acceptance of a global economic system based on the U.S. dollar erodes, so does U.S. political hegemony.

History tells us that when a global superpower loses economic and political hegemony, it seeks to maintain its grip on power through military force.  I would suggest that this is what we have been seeing with U.S. military campaigns in the Middle East and Ukraine.  I would also suggest that as the U.S. loses its global power, it will become more dangerous as a global nuclear weapons power…

Nice! U.S. Threatens The World With An ICBM Test-firing Today

Well, I woke up this morning, and I got myself a beer /The future’s uncertain, and the end is always near/Let it roll baby, roll/Let it roll baby, roll/Let it roll, aaaall night long!  – Jim Morrison

With these launches, we not only verify our processes and the ICBM (intercontinental ballistic missile) weapon system, we provide a visual to the world that the Minuteman III is capable of striking pretty much anywhere with extreme precision,” said Lt. Col Tytonia Moore of the 90th Missile Wing, based out of the Francis E. Warren AFB in Wyoming, according to the statement.

RT reports – LINK, and confirmed by the Air Force, the U.S. test-fired a Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile capable of, according Lt. Col Tytonia Moore, delivering a thermonuclear warhead anywhere in the world with “extreme precision.”

As you’ll hear tomorrow when our Shadow of Truth podcast with Jim Willie CB is posted, Jim thinks China is operating methodically to de-fuse the U.S. and avert the nuclear confrontation between the U.S. and the east that I believe is inevitable.

I hope Jim is right and I’m wrong. Unfortunately I believe I have history on my side. But until then….Let it roll baby, roll!
